Julia Ford
I started working for Baker and Company 7 years ago when I was an
education major at the University of Texas at Dallas. I picked up
accounting work frequently in busy times to help out and liked it so
much, I changed my major to accounting and eventually graduated with
my Masters. Working here gave me the flexibility to complete my entire
degree while gaining valuable tax experience. Now, I am an Advanced
Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and a CPA. Working here has allowed
me to help companies of all sizes and their owners with their taxes
and accounting, and it has given me control to choose to do the work I
enjoy doing. Additionally, we have been given an enormous amount of
resources, from a paperless office, personal scanners, dual monitors,
a comfortable environment and a support staff committed to making our
job as easy as possible I can focus on my job and expanding my client
base. Now 7 years with the company, I have my own client base and
rarely ask what needs to be done next. My clients call me directly,
which really cements my sense of security with the firm.
